Milliea's journey into the music industry began when she received her first major break writing for Brandon Hills Music and Jandar Records under the leadership of CEO Marsha Brown. There, she wrote and auditioned songs for established country artists, earning recognition for her exceptional songwriting abilities. She later partnered with songwriter Renee Beach as part of the writing team French Country, publishing songs through Brandon Hills Music and establishing herself as a respected creative voice. Her talent and dedication have since earned her international acclaim, including Song of the Year honors and worldwide honorable mentions, while her lasting impact on the industry has led to recognition as a Hall of Fame Songwriter.
An entrepreneur with a passion for empowering others, Milliea founded M.I.A. Music In Arrangement Publishing BMI LLC in 2010 and has since launched several successful ventures, including Conscious Music Entertainment, MRTEntertainment, and MIA Publishing. Throughout her career, she has worn many hats as a promoter, publicist, publisher, talent agent, and music strategist, helping artists navigate the ever changing music industry while remaining true to their creative vision. Her ability to identify opportunities and guide talent has earned her the respect of colleagues and artists alike.

She co wrote Living In Unity with student Jenny Trindall, creating a song that encourages love and compassion for those facing difficult circumstances. She also wrote Music Can Heal the World and We Are Hope, songs recorded by Sheila Raye Charles, daughter of the legendary Ray Charles. Her composition Ariel's Rising was embraced by author Denice Newton as part of a project honoring fifty women making a meaningful difference around the world. A former educator herself, Milliea continues to champion music education, youth mentorship, and positive lyrical content through her work and partnerships with organizations dedicated to preserving the legacy of music.
