BUGSY JENEVA - A NEW CHAPTER FOR AN ARTIST TO WATCH

Some artists spend years trying to figure out who they are. For Bugsy Jeneva, that identity was being shaped long before she ever picked up a microphone. Raised in Kissimmee, Florida, with strong roots in Massachusetts, Bugsy grew up around two very different influences. Her mother’s beauty salon introduced her to fashion, presentation, and confidence, while her father’s recording studios gave her an early look into the world of music. She spent years watching artists record, listening to sessions, and taking in everything around her. Eventually, those experiences became the foundation for her own style, a combination of Southern flavor, Northern attitude, fashion, and sharp lyricism.

Bugsy began making her own mark with songs such as “Big Dawg,” “Who You,” and “Pop Out,” building a following through independent radio, DJs, media, and live performances. But her journey took an unexpected turn when she stepped away from music following the loss of her grandparents. Time away changed her perspective, but it never erased her connection to music. Now, in 2026, Bugsy is back with new records and visuals including “Lazy” and “On Me.” The difference is that she isn't returning as the same artist who left. There is a greater sense of maturity and purpose behind this new chapter.

What makes Bugsy interesting is that she doesn't seem interested in chasing somebody else's formula. Her music can carry the energy of underground hip-hop while still leaving room for a wider audience, and her personality remains at the center of everything she does. With her music reaching independent radio and platforms across the U.S. and Canada, she is beginning to reconnect with listeners and introduce herself to a new generation of fans. There is still a lot ahead for Bugsy Jeneva, but one thing is clear: this isn't simply a comeback, it's the beginning of a new chapter for an artist who still has plenty to say.
