Sherlandra Revis has been surrounded by gospel music for nearly her entire life. Originally from Goldsboro, North Carolina, and now residing in Los Angeles, she began singing in her church’s youth choir and received her first solo at just five years old. Even at that young age, music became a meaningful part of her faith and laid the foundation for the recording artist and songwriter she would later become.

Her musical development continued when she joined her family’s gospel group, The Unionettes, at the age of 13. Singing with the group connected Sherlandra more deeply to her family’s musical heritage while giving her valuable experience as a vocalist and performer. It was within this environment of faith, family, and ministry that she learned how gospel music could encourage people and carry messages of hope into their lives.

In 2021, Sherlandra stepped forward to begin her journey as a solo artist, releasing her debut single and music video, “Amazing Love.” The release introduced audiences to her individual voice and marked the beginning of an exciting new season. Her work went on to receive Weekend Worship Artist recognition, a Global Music Award in 2024, and a nomination for a Gospel Choice Music Award, confirming that her heartfelt approach was beginning to resonate beyond her immediate community.

With the release of her second single, “In Your Hands,” in 2026, Sherlandra continues to move forward with purpose and confidence. Her story reflects years of preparation, from a five-year-old soloist in the church choir to an award-recognized gospel recording artist.
