On the Wings of the Psychedelic Radio Hour Carries The McGrath Project Into Its Next Chapter

The McGrath Project has spent more than two decades building a musical legacy shaped by classic rock influences and an impressive collection of musicians. Founded in Los Angeles in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Gary McGrath, the original group featured Tim Bogert of Vanilla Fudge and Cactus on bass, Bryan Head of Dick Dale and Foreigner on drums, and Teddy Andreadis of Guns N’ Roses on keyboards.

The band gained significant attention with Love Is a Four Letter Word, which surpassed 500,000 downloads in 2010. After relocating to the Dallas and Fort Worth area in 2015, Gary reformed the band with a lineup that brought both experience and family into the project. The current group includes drummer Andy Weaver, keyboardist Dean Minnerly, vocalist Breeawna Littlepage McGrath, and bassist Devin Littlepage.

During 2025 and 2026, The McGrath Project brought its music to audiences as the direct support act for several respected performers. The band appeared alongside 1980s icon Tiffany, current Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, and legendary rock band Nazareth. These appearances have strengthened the group’s reputation as a compelling live act with a sound that connects rock history to the present.

With On the Wings of the Psychedelic Radio Hour, The McGrath Project is opening another exciting chapter in its long journey. The album captures the creativity of a band that continues to evolve without losing its connection to the foundations of rock. An extensive touring schedule throughout the remainder of 2026 and all of 2027 will give listeners across the country an opportunity to experience this new era in person.
