Pikeville, Kentucky, native Tim Trent has spent decades developing his voice as a country singer and songwriter. His musical journey began in the 1980s, but after giving his life to Jesus, his purpose began to change. In 2025, Trent felt called to dedicate his songwriting and singing to spreading the message of faith through gospel music.

Answering that calling, Trent has written more than 125 songs inspired by faith, family, and personal experiences. His first national release, “Happy Mother’s Day,” is a touching tribute to his mother, who passed away in 2015, and is currently being promoted on national radio. He has also released “That’s Where Jesus Will Be,” a song that reflects his commitment to sharing hope through Christian music.

As a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, Trent continues to strengthen his reputation as a dedicated songwriter. His song “What I Lost with Jesus” received recognition on the Bob Kingsley Top 40. With his country roots and powerful gospel message, Tim Trent is building a meaningful musical legacy.
