Finding our own path in life isn’t ever easy - but for J’Moris, this process was harder than for most. Indeed, as a child growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, his opportunities often felt limited to life on the streets. However, his older brother, Chase, was determined not to let this happen, and so he set out to make a difference. His support would help J’Moris eventually graduate from high school, making him the first in his family to do so. In turn, this would slowly set him on the path to his current music career. And, without a doubt, the success of his current single “Jelly” has definitely helped stamp his name on the scene. 

J Moris considers a lot of his work to have been influenced by his childhood and experiences. However, he also takes musical inspiration from numerous hip-hop legends, such as Gucci Mane, T.I., Nipsey Hustle, and Master P. As such, it’s no surprise that his work often holds a level of familiarity that’s simultaneously welcoming and intriguing. His unique style definitely sets him apart from the crowd, and we can’t wait to see where he takes his career next. 

Though J’Moris’s career is still young, it’s easy to see that he’s got a huge amount of potential. As such, we wish him all the best with his future works, and we’ll continue watching with fascination to see where the future takes his career and his incredible singles, too.
