The pop scene is often full of different upcoming artists and singers, and yet not many of them manage to bring forth enough personality and innovation to make it big. Olivia Rees is a singer-songwriter that seems to have what many people are missing. The 24-year-old artist is currently based in Toronto but throughout her life, she has lived all over the world. 
Naturally, all of those experiences did not only influence her life but also her music. No matter where she went she used her strong musical ear and talent for song writing to write down her experiences. She would often create instrumentals using a guitar she learned how to play on her own when she was 12 years old. 

Much of her life included performing and honing her musical abilities. It is those abilities that she showcases now through her live performances all over different venues and clubs in Toronto, as well as through her new release “Gemini”. Gemini has all the marks of a great pop song, a great beat, and excellent lyrics that draw the listener in.
